Makita announced BCC01 and BCC02 on April 7, 2026. BCC01 holds eight packs and BCC02 holds twelve, but each cycles four at a time; LXT charging in BCC01 additionally requires ADP10.
Eight or twelve slots are not eight or twelve simultaneous charges
Makita's announcement distinguishes total ports from the number actively charging at once. Both cases cycle four packs at a time. Use the figures in the maker's stated configuration rather than treating slot count as charging concurrency.
BCC01 has a separate LXT path
BCC01 serves XGT batteries directly. For an 18V LXT pack, Makita specifies the ADP10 charger adapter, sold separately. This is a charging path and does not make LXT batteries usable in XGT tools.
Check the actual charger label
The press release does not by itself establish every physical unit's AC-input rating. Read the unit's own US label and manual, especially if it was imported or sold without a familiar plug.
