Manufacturer documents lead every model-specific compatibility claim. The catalog preserves the distinction between an official statement and an editorial inference.
Source priority
A manufacturer product page, official compatibility table or exact manual is preferred. Authorized reseller material is a clue for rechecking, while seller Q&A and user posts never establish an approved pair by themselves.
What we record
For each published model we store its exact number, kind, system, region and source IDs. For each positive, conditional or negative pair we store direction, reason, conditions, official source IDs and review date. Unknown is the safe default when a necessary fact is absent.
Changes and conflicts
A new manual, product revision or correction can change an answer. If official sources conflict, the pair should revert to unknown until reviewed. We do not silently update every page date simply because a build ran.
